About Reflect
What it is
Reflect is a note-taking application built on linking notes together rather than filing them. It has a daily note, backlinks between ideas, end-to-end encryption, and AI for drafting, summarising and searching what you have written.
Why it's different
Encryption is the distinguishing feature in this category. Networked note apps are where people put their most personal thinking, and most store it readable by the provider, so end-to-end encryption is a meaningful difference rather than a marketing line. It is fast and deliberately minimal. The costs are that it is paid where strong free alternatives exist, and that its minimalism means fewer features if you want databases, views and heavy structure.
How people use it
Daily notes and journalling. Connecting ideas over months. People who want a networked notes tool the provider cannot read. Meeting notes that must stay private. Use the daily note as the entry point rather than designing a structure, because these tools work by accumulation and a structure imposed on day one rarely survives.
