About this directory

tools.n3os.com is a curated index of AI and productivity tools, built and maintained by N3O Studios. It exists because finding a genuinely useful tool has become harder, not easier — every week brings another launch, and most listings you can find are ranked by who paid rather than what works.

How tools get listed

Every tool here is checked by an automated algorithm before it is listed, and again on a schedule afterwards. The check requests the product’s own site and confirms it responds and still names the product — which is what catches a dead link, a lapsed domain, or a product that has quietly been acquired and folded into something else. Each tool page shows the date of its last check and what that check found.

Being precise about what that does not cover, because a vague claim is worth less than a narrow one: it does not test that a product is any good, that its pricing is current, or that the write-up on our page is still right. That part is editorial, it is written here by hand, and it can go stale — which is what the email address further down is for.

Nothing is listed, ranked or criticised because someone paid, and there is no submission fee. If a link here ever earns us a commission, or a slot is ever sponsored, it is labelled as such on the page it appears on — and it changes none of the above.

Accounts

There aren't any. The directory is free to browse with no sign-up, no email address, and nothing stored about you. If that ever changes, it will be announced here first, with terms and a privacy policy published before a single field is collected.

Corrections and removal requests

Every tool listed here is a third-party product, written up from public information and without its maker's involvement. That means a listing can go stale, or be wrong about what something does, or simply be unwanted. If you own a tool listed here, email support@n3os.com and we will correct it or take it down — you do not have to explain why you would rather not be listed, and we will not argue the point. Include the page, and enough to show the tool is yours.
