What it is
Vectorizer.ai converts bitmap images into vector graphics. You upload a pixel image such as a PNG or a photograph of a logo, and it traces it into clean, editable curves that scale to any size.
Why it's different
Tracing quality is what separates the tools here, and this one is notably better than the tracing built into most design software, particularly on curves, corners and the awkward middle ground between a clean logo and a photograph. That is a narrow but real advantage. What it cannot do is invent information: a blurred or heavily compressed source vectorises into clean shapes of the wrong outline, so the result is only ever as good as the input. It is a paid tool beyond previewing.
How people use it
Recovering a logo when only a low-resolution image survives. Preparing artwork for print, embroidery or cutting. Converting scanned drawings into editable shapes. Find the highest-resolution original you can before converting, because that difference matters far more than the difference between one tracing tool and another.
