About Magnific AI
What it is
Magnific AI enlarges and enhances images, adding detail that was not in the original rather than only smoothing what is already there. You control how much new detail it invents and how closely it stays to the source.
Why it's different
Its enhancement is the best regarded of its kind, and the reason is also the caveat: it does not recover detail, it imagines plausible detail and paints it in. On a landscape or a texture that is wonderful. On a face, a document, a product or anything where accuracy matters, it will confidently invent features that were never there. It is also expensive for what it does, priced per credit in a way that makes heavy use costly.
How people use it
Enlarging generated images for print. Adding texture and detail to illustration and concept art. Rescuing a low-resolution image where exactness does not matter. Never use it on a photograph of a person or a product that has to be accurate, because the invented detail is convincing enough that nobody will notice it is wrong.
