About Leonardo.Ai
What it is
Leonardo.Ai generates images with far more control than a plain prompt box. It offers models trained for particular styles, the ability to train your own on a set of images, canvas editing, and consistent characters across generations.
Why it's different
The control is what distinguishes it, and consistency is the specific thing: producing the same character or style across many images is what most generators cannot do and what any real project needs, whether that is a game, a book or a campaign. It is correspondingly more work to learn than a simple generator. The free daily allowance is genuinely usable, which is rare, and it was acquired by Canva, so its direction now depends on somebody else's roadmap.
How people use it
Game and concept art needing a consistent look. Character illustration across a series of images. Training a model on your own style or product. Marketing imagery in a fixed brand style. Spend the time on custom models if you need consistency, because that is the whole reason to be here rather than at a simpler generator.
