Boomy makes complete songs in a few clicks. You pick a style, it generates a track, you adjust it, and it produces a finished piece, with an option to release the result to streaming services through the platform.
Why it's different
It is aimed at people with no musical background at all, and it does deliver something listenable quickly, which is the appeal. The streaming distribution is the part to think hardest about, and it is worth being direct: streaming services have removed large volumes of generated music and withheld royalties from it, and uploading generated tracks at volume is treated as artificial streaming rather than as releasing music. The tracks themselves are generic, which is what the format produces.
