About Bardeen
What it is
Bardeen is a browser extension that automates repetitive work inside the browser. It can pull data off a page into a spreadsheet, copy information between web applications, and run a sequence of clicks and form fills on a schedule or from a shortcut.
Why it's different
Because it runs in your own browser as you, it reaches things server-side automation cannot: anything behind a login, a page with no API, an internal tool nobody will ever build an integration for. That is also its limitation. It is tied to a browser that has to be open, it is Chrome-first, and automations that read a page break whenever that page is redesigned. Treat it as something that saves you an hour a week rather than as infrastructure.
How people use it
Scraping a list of results into a spreadsheet. Copying records between tools that do not connect. Repetitive research and lead gathering. Filling the same form over and over. Expect to repair them: build the ones that save the most time first, and check them after any site you depend on changes its layout.
