About Browse.ai

What it is

Browse.ai extracts data from websites without code. You demonstrate what you want by clicking the elements on a page, and it builds a robot that pulls the same fields on a schedule, with alerts when the values change.

Why it's different

The monitoring is the part worth paying for rather than the scraping. Watching a competitor's pricing page or a listings site and being told when something moves is a job people otherwise do by remembering to look. It handles logins and pagination, which is where simpler tools stop. What it cannot do is make scraping someone's site lawful or acceptable, and that remains your responsibility. Sites that do not want to be read will also fight it, so expect robots to break.

How people use it

Monitoring competitor pricing and stock. Collecting listings, directories or job boards. Watching for a page to change. Gathering data where no API exists. Read the target site's terms and robots file before building anything, and slow the schedule down, because hammering a site is both rude and the fastest way to get blocked.
