About ResearchRabbit

What it is

ResearchRabbit maps academic literature as a network. You add papers you already know and it suggests related work, shows how papers and authors connect, and updates as you add more, building a picture of a field rather than a list of results.

Why it's different

Treating a review as something you build up over time is the difference from a search engine, and the ongoing suggestions as your collection grows genuinely surface work you would not have found. It is free, which is unusual here. It shares the limits of any citation-based approach: recent work is thin, coverage depends on indexing, and connection is not quality. The interface also rewards patience rather more than it rewards a first visit.

How people use it

Building a literature review from a few known papers. Following an unfamiliar field over time. Finding authors working on the same problem. Tracking what is new in a narrow area. Start from several good papers rather than one, because the map is only ever as sensible as the seed you give it.
