About Lovable
What it is
Lovable builds web applications from a description in a chat. It generates the interface, wires up a database and authentication, lets you edit by asking for changes, and can publish the result to a live URL.
Why it's different
It is the most polished of the prompt-to-application tools, and for a founder or a designer who cannot write code it genuinely produces something usable and good-looking. The honest limit is the one the whole category shares, and it is not a small one: the first eighty per cent arrives in an afternoon and the rest is very hard, because debugging a codebase you did not write and do not understand is worse than writing it. The generated code is real and exportable, which is the escape hatch.
How people use it
Validating an idea with something people can actually click. Internal tools where the alternative was a spreadsheet. Landing pages and simple products. A working prototype to hand to a developer. Export to a repository early and have a developer look before you have customers, because the moment it needs fixing is not the moment to find out what is inside it.
