About Khroma
What it is
Khroma generates colour palettes tuned to your taste. You pick colours you like once, it learns from that, and then produces combinations in your preference, shown as type, gradients, images and palettes rather than as bare swatches.
Why it's different
Training it on your own choices is what separates it from an endless generic palette generator, and seeing a combination applied to type and images is far more useful than judging squares of colour, because a pairing that looks good as swatches routinely fails as text on a background. It is narrow and free, which is the right shape for it. It will not check accessibility for you, so contrast still has to be verified somewhere else.
