About Kaiber
What it is
Kaiber generates animated video from text, from images or from an existing clip. It leans towards stylised, flowing animation rather than realism, and it can drive that animation from a piece of music so the visuals move in time with the track.
Why it's different
The audio reactivity is its real distinguishing feature and the reason musicians use it, because most generators ignore sound entirely. It is also honest about being a stylised tool, which sidesteps the trap of near-realistic video that is almost right and therefore worse than something plainly illustrated. Set against newer generators its coherence is dated: shapes drift and morph between frames. There is no free tier, so evaluating it costs money.
How people use it
Music videos and visualisers. Abstract backgrounds and loops for stage screens or streams. Stylised sequences where drifting imagery is the intention. Lean into the drift rather than fighting it, because any brief that needs a stable subject held in frame for ten seconds is the wrong job for this tool.
