About Wordtune
What it is
Wordtune rewrites sentences into alternative phrasings. You highlight a sentence and it offers versions that are more formal, more casual, shorter or longer, and it will also summarise long text.
Why it's different
It is narrow on purpose, and that focus makes it good at the specific thing: giving you several genuine alternatives to a sentence, which improves your own writing more than a tool that simply replaces it. It is particularly valuable for people writing in a second language, where knowing a sentence is wrong is much easier than knowing how to fix it. Against a general assistant it does far less, and the free tier caps rewrites low enough to count as a trial.
