About v0
What it is
v0 is Vercel's interface generator. You describe a screen or paste a screenshot and it returns working React components styled with Tailwind and shadcn/ui, which you can refine by asking for changes and then copy into your own project.
Why it's different
It produces real code in a specific stack rather than a picture of a design, so the output is something you can actually ship. That is also the limit: if you are not using React and Tailwind, most of the value goes away. It is good at the first eighty per cent of a screen and weaker at the details that make an interface usable, so treat the result as a starting layout rather than a finished component.
How people use it
Getting a first draft of a settings page, dashboard or form without starting from a blank file. Trying three layouts quickly to see which reads best. Turning a rough sketch into something a colleague can react to. Check the accessibility and the keyboard behaviour yourself; generated markup is frequently fine to look at and awkward to use.
