About Lavender.ai
What it is
Lavender coaches sales emails as you write them. It scores a draft, suggests shorter phrasing, flags what tends to reduce replies, and pulls in context about the recipient, working inside the email client you already use.
Why it's different
Coaching in the moment is the right design, because feedback after the fact does not change behaviour whereas a score moving while you type does, and it teaches the underlying habits rather than writing the email for you. The caveat is what it optimises for: reply rate on cold outbound, which produces a recognisable house style that recipients have learned to spot. The advice is also fairly generic — shorter, simpler, one question — which you could learn once and then apply without a subscription.
How people use it
Teaching a new sales team to write better cold email. Improving reply rates on outbound. Writing to a recipient you know nothing about. Use it to learn the habits and then judge whether you still need it, because most of its value transfers to you within a few weeks.
